This week’s call covered Kleros’ recent UK tour, with stops at King’s College London, Oxford, and the University of Edinburgh. The team shared updates from discussions with academic, legal, and blockchain research communities around decentralized justice, mechanism design, private governance, and how Kleros v2 can become more flexible, fair, and useful in real-world settings.
A big topic was the future of AI in dispute resolution. The team discussed how different AI models can reach different decisions on the same case, sometimes showing different biases or inconsistencies. This reinforced the idea that future dispute resolution may need panels of AI models, similar to how Kleros uses human jurors today, instead of relying on one single model.
There were also updates from Kleros Enterprise. The team is speaking with an access-to-justice NGO in Asia, testing ways to make private courts faster and more privacy-preserving, and researching complaint platforms where Kleros could help resolve disputes that remain unresolved between users and companies.
On the ecosystem side, the team mentioned Manifest, ETHConf in New York, DappCon Berlin, and the upcoming SubTech conference in Buenos Aires. There was also a reminder for jurors to check the technical court, updates on Kleros Scout reaching its definitive version with millions of tagged entries, and a call for the community to stay active on the Kleros forum.
